Privacy Policy

NINTH (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is a numerology app developed by Synthax Codes SRL, registered as a Moldova IT Park resident (SRL) in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

Information you provide

• Full birth name — used to calculate your numerology numbers (Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, etc.).
• Date of birth — used to calculate your numerology numbers and daily/yearly cycles.
• Email address — account creation via Sign in with Apple (Apple may hide your real email).
• Goal selection — personalise your experience (self-discovery, love, career).
• Partner/friend names and birth dates — compatibility readings (stored only on your device).

Information collected automatically

• Device token — deliver push notifications (daily insights).
• Anonymous usage events — understand which features are used to improve the app.
• Purchase history — manage your subscription status.
• Device identifier — analytics (not linked to your identity).

• Numerology calculations are performed entirely on your device. Your name and birth date are not sent to our servers for this purpose.
• Personalised readings are generated using your numerology numbers (not your personal details). We use Anthropic’s Claude API to generate reading content based on number meanings, not on your identity.
• Push notifications deliver a daily numerology insight each morning. You can disable these at any time in Settings.
• Analytics help us understand feature usage and improve the app. Events are anonymous and not linked to your personal information.
• Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat. We do not process or store your payment details directly.

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple (Sign in with Apple) — authentication. Subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — subscription and payment management. Subject to RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
• Amplitude — anonymous usage analytics. Subject to Amplitude’s Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — generate personalised reading content. Subject to Anthropic’s Privacy Policy.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your information. We encourage you to review their policies.

• Your profile (name, birth date, numerology numbers) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework.
• Your authentication token is stored securely in the iOS Keychain.
• Cached readings are stored on your device to reduce network requests.
• Our backend stores a minimal account record (Apple user ID, email, subscription status, device token) to provide the service.
• All network communication uses HTTPS encryption.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, strictly to operate the app.

• Account data — retained while your account is active.
• Cached readings — time-sensitive content (daily/monthly readings) expires automatically after 30 days. Core readings are cached indefinitely on your device.
• Analytics data — retained in aggregate form and is not personally identifiable.

You can at any time:

• Edit your profile (name, birth date) in the app’s Settings.
• Delete your account from Settings, which removes all server-side data and resets local data.
• Disable notifications in Settings or through iOS system settings.
• Request your data by contacting us at the email below.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@synthax.codes. We will respond within 30 days.

NINTH is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@synthax.codes and we will delete it promptly.

NINTH does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use advertising identifiers or participate in ad networks. Our analytics are used solely to improve the NINTH experience.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an app update or notification. The “Effective Date” at the top reflects the latest revision.

Continued use of NINTH after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
